My name is Ashley Chemmalakuzhy, from Texas, USA. I have challenged myself to change the world for as long as I can remember. I am an aspiring leader passionate about medicine and community welfare. I want to be a physician focusing on global public health.

 

As Executive Director of the We R Love Foundation, a nonprofit with health, homelessness, and education as its three pillars, I aim to make my mark on the world. Through several projects, we have raised $8,000 to date, in addition to gathering food, menstrual products, and school supplies to distribute to people in need. Our period poverty project helped me realize the importance of women’s health.
 

This inspired me to create We R Women, an initiative highlighting women’s health issues: inaccessibility to feminine hygiene products and endometriosis. I am inspired to collaborate with other youth worldwide to give hope to the next generation.
